About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Supervisor to lead our Dispatch and Receivals operations at our Sydney facility.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer service outcomes. This position is ideally suited to a hands-on leader with experience in FMCG manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environments.

You will be responsible for leading a team, driving operational performance, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving processes through the effective use of warehouse management systems and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage labour resources to meet operational requirements and customer demand.

Safety & Compliance

• Champion workplace health and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP requirements, and relevant legislative obligations.
• Drive a strong safety culture through leadership and proactive risk management.

Despatch & Receivals Operations

• Oversee daily dispatch and receivals activities to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Coordinate inventory movements and stock control activities.
• Ensure product handling and storage requirements are maintained.

Inventory & System Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records through effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Support continuous system improvements and process optimisation initiatives

Reporting

• Prepare and analyse operational reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational performance and customer service outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Logistics Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and quality requirements.
• Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
