We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic & professional Account Manager to join our retail team.

Based in Wacol, Brisbane, with working from home flexibility also, this role will be accountable for growing the sales and profit of the One Harvest business through exceptional customer service and management of our retail customer base. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will be joining a highly experienced commercial team, where your insights and ideas are not only welcomed, but encouraged.

This role will involve day-to-day management of the account relationship, coordinating the launch of new products, successful promotion management, account planning, category analysis and ownership of the reviews for your account.

Job Description

Your role will maximise all sales opportunities by proactively creating new opportunities & achieving sales targets. A strong focus will be on developing & managing relationships within the industry & working with them on business growth opportunities that are beneficial to all parties.

A day in the life

 Develop and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Ensure a smooth supply chain operates between One Harvest and the retailer

Effective execution of sales pipeline & account strategies for long-term sustained success

Drive continuous improvement opportunities that further efficiencies

Apply your empathetic and influential approach to customer relationship management in order to continually deepen your understanding of customer pain-points and work diligently and collaboratively on solutions to these

Work with the Head of Sales to contribute to strategic account planning and negotiations

Proactively participate in regular client meetings

Develop and implement promotional plans

Negotiate new business opportunities through existing customer channels

Support sales forecasting with commercial insights

Partner with the New Product Development (NPD) team to develop and launch new products

 

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

As a self-starter & your natural affinity for building & maintaining collaborative partnership to achieve desired outcomes, means that you have a proven track record of success & confident utilizing financial data & insights to build & grow opportunities.

· You are at the start of your commercial career and willing to learn and adapt

· Strong commercial acumen, challenging the status quo to deliver growth

· Self motivated & passionate influencing capability to build effective & sustainable relationships with key stakeholders

· Ability to think outside the box

· Account or territory management experience within the food retail sector is well regarded

· Previous experience in an FMCG commercial role dealing with customers and fresh category experience is desired

· High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

· Tertiary qualification within business, agribusiness or related discipline is desired but will consider applicants on their merit

· We will train you if you don’t have extensive account management experience, but must have commercial FMCG experience
