We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our salad processing facility in Wacol. In this hands-on and fast-paced role, you will use your electrical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot and improve the performance and reliability of plant and equipment across the site.
You will provide flexible, high-quality support to production by carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown maintenance, while ensuring all established health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Rotating roster: 4 days one week / 3 days the next
Night shift: 5:00pm – 5:00am

Job Description
Duties:
Ensure compliance with One Harvest safety, health and environment requirements
Proactively identify & coordinate preventative maintenance across the site
Responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritised to meet production needs
Provide technical support & training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting
To provide detailed account of all work performed and logged in our CMMS (Mex)
Support continuous improvement/project implementation
Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out-of-spec finished goods
Assist with ensuring BRC, and other standards are met

About You:
Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
You will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician
Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment failures & fault finding
Able to repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP & GMP are not compromised
You will have a sound understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical drawings, PLC controls, variable, speed drives and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
