About the Role
We’re looking for a Payroll Team Lead to support the delivery of our weekly payroll.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee day-to-day payroll processing and act as the main problem solver for our payroll team.
Key responsibilities:
· Foster a positive and supportive team culture built on accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
· Coordinate end-to-end weekly payroll processing
· Provide daily oversight and quality checks
· Ensure correct application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation
· Manage payroll enquiries and issue resolution
· Help improve payroll processes and documentation
About You
· Payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
· Passionate about coaching team members to ensure quality
· Good knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and EBAs
· Effective stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
· Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
